"Sir, give me this water, so that I may not be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water" (John 4:15-18)

The gift of understanding enables us to empathize with others, if we consider how others feel, we can recognize their needs, specially the need for spiritual fruit and guidance. That way we can help them find God and be one with Him.
