Mk 3: 20-35

 
He went home and they went to seize Him
 

Do we welcome Jesus into our hearts and our home?  In today’s Gospel passage, Jesus’ own family had a difficult time accepting Him. Perhaps it was the unusual things He said or the way He dealt with sinners. Sometimes following Christ means to do unusual and out of the ordinary things, even if it means rejection by others.  Let us have the courage to welcome Christ into our hearts and not reject Him. Let us also have the courage to stand up for Him even if we risk rejection.
