"Feb-ibig" month is almost over but love is still in the air for the Verbum Dei family in Cebu. The couples had their pre-valentines event last Feb. 7 with the theme "Love Found You." held in Lapu-lapu City. It was a celebration of love and of renewal of their marriage vows. 

The event started with a mass celebrated by our newly ordained priest, Fr. Vincent "Bong" Guinoo, FMVD. It was at this time that the renewal of marriage vows happened. This was then followed by a sumptuous dinner then some very exciting and fun couple games. 

At the 3rd and last part of the evening was the expression of love by the couples to each other, with the question "Why do I deserve this flower?". It was indeed a night full of love, celebrating together as VD couples.

Last January 20-22, and 23-31 was the 51st International Eucharistic Congress with the theme: “Christ in Us, Our Hope of Glory”

God give us the grace as a Fraternity, to be part of the experience of formation and being one with the Church in the Theological symposium and the Eucharistic Congress. We have received abundant graces and renewed our hope in the value of the Eucharist's real presence of Christ among us.

As one with the Church we say “Thank you” for this experience. Our being Verbum Dei is formed in the hands of our mother Church.
