News in Cebu: Transmission of the 2nd International Family Symposium (Mar. 26, 2017)

Cebu City - The 5 representatives of the 2nd International Symposium has recently concluded their transmission of the fruits and updates for the family in Cebu. This is the 2nd time since the first one done last February with the family in Luzon.

The event started with a time of prayer where the guidelines was given by Mau Baja, a married couple missionary based in Cagayan de Oro (CDO). Then the transmission was done by the 7 different commissions namely: Identity, Mission, Spirituality, Itineraries of Formation, Incorporation (Ways of Belonging), Coordination, and Administration. The different commissions were shared by the 5 participants: Gelo Balsita, a missionary disciple from Luzon, Ronan & Lordie Capuras, married couple missionary disciples from Cebu, and Jess & Mau Baja, married couple missionaries based in CDO. After the transmission was a moment of open forum where the participants, together with Lupita Granados (vice ecclesial coordinator and member of the FMVD), listened to the feedback and questions from the family.

At the end of the day, everyone had the chance to be in the mass for the 4th Sunday of Lent which was celebrated by Fr. Vincent (Bong) Guinoo, FMVD. During the thanksgiving, Lisa Calvez, a member of the FMVD, shared her thanksgiving to the whole family as she will be leaving Cebu to start her theological studies in Spain.
