Gospel - John 14:21-26



“If a man loves me, he will keep My Word”

Some words speak so much to our hearts, that we carry them with us all our days. Mr. Tino, the president of the company where I used to work was retiring, and I dropped by his office to say farewell. I will never forget the words he spoke to me then, “Take care of yourself and take care of those who are dear to you.” I have tried to follow that sage advice every day since then.



In today’s gospel, Jesus tells us to remember and follow His word. He knew that the concerns of the world will make it easy for us to forget. He wants us to remember His word because it is the answer to the problems that the world throws at us. His word tells us what is most important in this world. His word is love. His word is life itself.
