Gospel: Jn 7:40-53

“In God’s Time”

In the previous gospel readings, there were several attempts to capture Jesus but those attempts failed and the passion of Christ should happen in God’s time. We may have noticed the division that happened in the gospel. Some believed in Jesus and some did not. In our journey there are times we might be the unbelieving or we might be the believing. We might have failed to believe because we couldn’t see the fruit of our prayers and labors but God has heard and seen everything. The things you have asked and you have worked on, it will come in God’s time.

Holy Spirit, grant us the gift of faith and patience.
