Daily Guidelines: August 2, 2019

August 2, 2019 – Friday
Gospel: Matthew 13:54–58
 
"And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith." (cf. Mt 13:58)
 
In today’s Gospel, Jesus experienced rejection in His hometown. And with their lack of faith, He was not able to do miracles in their lives.
 
Sometimes when we feel like our prayers are not being answered, we become like the people in the Gospel, we tendto lose faith and have our hearts closed to the miracles of Jesus in our lives.
 
Let us ask Mother Mary to teach us how to trust more in the power of Jesus so as to open our hearts to His miracles in our lives.
