Gospel: Matthew 11:11–15
 
"Yet the least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than he." (cf. Matthew 11:11)
 
In our baptism, we are called to be prophets and to live our lives proclaiming the truth of our faith. In today’s Gospel, Jesus highly praised John the Baptist in living out the call of God to him by being the prophet who would prepare the way of the Lord. And yet, Jesus gave this also as a challenge to everyone to live out their call to be prophets and be greater than him.
 
May we have the courage to live out our call to be prophets and proclaim the truths of the Kingdom of God.
