Gospel – Matthew 1:18-25 "Do not be afraid " In the Gospel Joseph was afraid what people think about him and Mary. He wanted to divorce his wife quietly because Mary was pregnant and he knew that he was not the father. But the angel of of the Lord appeared to him in his dream and said 'do not be afraid to take Mary your wife.' The fear is always there to weaken our faith. We are afraid to lose everything. We are afraid to become alone or to become poor. We are afraid to be judged by other people. And because of that sometimes we forget what God can do for us. We should remember that He sent His son Jesus to save us for our sins. And He was named "Immanuel" meaning "God with us". Until now He never forgets His promise that He will never leave us. Oh lord thank you for always there specially in our darkest hour in our life. Amen. #PrayVD |
