Daily Guidelines: December 26, 2018

December 26, 2018 – Wednesday
Gospel: Matthew 10:17-22

“For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father, speaking through you.”

It will not be easy to follow the footsteps of Christ. There will be resistance, denial, sarcasm, persecution, and even martyrdom. But He says, “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be in heaven.” What God wants is that we are strengthened by these trials and gain hope in heaven. It will be him who will give us what we need to face what comes.
Let us remember too what hardships Mama Mary went through. Let us call on her during our difficult times.
