Daily Guidelines: February 1, 2021

​February 1, 2021 Monday
Gospel: Mark5:1-20
 
“Go home to your people and tell them all that the Lord in his mercy has done for you.”
 
We can identify ourselves with the man when we acknowledge that we all have demons that possess us which affects our relationship with Jesus. “For we wrestle not against the flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against a spiritual wickedness “ Ep6:12 We may feel distant from him. Yet at this moment , let us run to him and beg to be liberated from darkness. He desires to set us free . His compassion and love heals us and make us whole again. 
 
Our encounter with Jesus is not exclusive to us. Jesus commissioned the man to tell everyone what had been done to him. You and I are called the same. Let us live out cheerfully our calling as child of God in these ordinary times, to attract and draw more people  to him.
