Daily Guidelines: February 21, 2021

​February 21, 2021 – Sunday
Mk 1: 12-15
“Repent and believe in the Gospel”
 
While praying for the gospel in this first Sunday of lent, Jesus tells us how He spent His 40 days in the desert. He was tempted but Jesus shows His strong love to the Father. Even when hungry he remained faithful. In this season of lent, Jesus invites us to spend this 40 days of lent with Him. To be able to do that, we are invited to repent from our sins, to fast on things we usually do and spend more time in prayer, preaching and sharing of faith. And believe in the gospel that we will be able to change our ways. Let us find the meaning of this Lenten season. Let us open our hearts and hear the message of Jesus as we journey towards our salvation.
 
Holy Spirit, grant us the grace to be able to celebrate this season of lent in a meaningful manner so that we may be able to receive the kingdom of God.
