Reflections of Faith
Read and be inspired by a reflection based on today's Gospel made by members of the Verbum Dei Family in Manila.

Gospel: Luke 4:21-30 “But He passed through the midst of them and went away.” When Jesus tried to challenge the faith of the Israelites by citing how it was to the widows who were not Jews that God sent prophets (implying that maybe the faith of those widows were greater than the faith of the Israelites), they did not take it quite well. In fact, they wanted to hurl him down the hill. But He managed to stay safe. When we follow Christ, sometimes it would entail people not taking our intentions, gestures well. Take courage, Jesus will keep us safe. Lord, thank you for setting us the example to be brave in following you. #PrayVD |
