February 4, 2019 – Monday
Gospel: Mark 5:1-20

“Let your hearts take comfort”

Sometimes we are like the possessed man in the gospel, bruising ourselves with stones and crying out loud. He is doing that unconsciously. We might be possessed also by various things and we might be unconscious of that. It could be challenges in life, temptations, material things, etc. A sight of Jesus may free us from being possessed if we allow the mercy and love of God to flow in us.

Mama Mary, help us to always seek Jesus in our lives and let the mercy and love of Christ transform our hearts and take comfort. Let us also announce the mercy and love of Christ to others.
