Gospel: Mark 6:1-6

“He was amazed at their lack of faith.”

Sometimes the ones who are most familiar with us are the ones who can’t believe the good that can come out of us.  Jesus shows us not to be afraid of who we are.   We are constantly changing and there will really be a time when we just have to let the people close to us be surprised of what could come out of us.  Maybe they will doubt us but Jesus is telling us, “That’s not a problem! Carry on!”.  In the gospel, he carried on and was not afraid to be who he was. 

Holy Spirit, grant us the freedom to let the good in us come out!
