Gospel: Luke 2:16-21

“they gave him the name Jesus, the name the angel had given him”

The child is named. Jesus means “God saves”. And “every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” Phil 1:9

What’s in a Name? Have you ever wondered what your name stands for ? Are you living up to its meaning? An angel gave the name of Jesus  and John . Likewise, our name is not just any other name. Let us take time  to ponder on this revelation, not just in mind but in heart too and rediscover our identity.

Also, today is New Year’s  Day. How are you welcoming FY2020? Are you expectant, full of hope and renewed? Lets us come before Jesus, share our disposition with him and ask his blessing’s of this new year’s journey .
