January 20, 2020 Monday
Gospel: Mark 2:18–22

“As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.” (cf. Mark 2:19)

In today’s Gospel, Jesus was asked by the people why His disciples were not fasting. Jesus replied to them with conviction, saying that there’s no need for His disciples to fast as long as they have Him likening the situation into a wedding celebration.

This scene gives us a glance of an indulging life with Jesus that when we are with Him, He only wants us to be filled with His love.

May we always feel the presence of Jesus in our life, giving us the indulging life He wanted for us.
