Gospel: Matthew 9:32-38



​The harvest is rich, but the labourers are few

Have you ever felt discouraged or unmotivated in your work, study, love life, or family life? Perhaps if we reflect on these instances in our life, we may think that one big factor is when others don't seem to appreciate what we do.



Today's gospel narrates Jesus' touring all towns and villages, proclaiming the Word and healing. And all along the Pharisees are mocking Him, spreading false news about Him. Yet Jesus stood His ground and continued His mission, keeping His eyes fixed on the rich harvest that lies ahead. 



Jesus, may You give us the grace to work like You, as true labourers of God who are dedicated and determined amidst criticism and lack of appreciation.
