Daily Guidelines: July 18, 2020

​July 18, 2020 – Saturday
Gospel: Matthew 12:14–21
 
"Here is my servant, whom I have chosen." (cf. Matthew 12:18)
 
They were so threatened with Jesus and His influence that they decided to put Him to death. Realizing that He was in danger, Jesus decided to withdraw to a secluded place. And yet as a fulfilment of the prophecy, He still accepted those who are sick and forgotten by the society. He continued to become the servant whom the Father had sent to serve and save us.
 
Mother Mary, help us to be like Jesus in serving in spite of the judgment and condemnation of others. Amen.
