​Gospel: Matthew 9:18-26

​Courage, my daughter, your faith has saved you.



Have you ever encountered someone who comes to you as a seemingly "hopeless case"? It might be a person burdened with a physical disability, an ailment, or perhaps someone whose temperament is so bad it seems irreversible.



In our gospel today, Jesus encounters two seemingly 'hopeless cases' and came to their aid. Jesus teaches us that it is through courage and faith that we can make the impossible turn to possible, we can change hopelessness to healing, and we can give life to people who can't find meaning in it. So look around you, can your courage and faith save someone today?
