Gospel: Jn 19:31-37
 
For this happened so that the Scripture passage might be fulfilled

In the Gospel today, there is a line that says: in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross…. In the same way, we are reminded today that our bodies are not meant to remain on the cross. What cross do you have in your reality? Misunderstanding in your family? Friend? Self? Job? 
 
Jesus wants you to know that you are not meant to stay in the cross -- that the cross you have now -- you will gracefully overcome!

Holy Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, help us understand more how we can work on our crosses in out realities of life so that we will not be the same person again -- but renewed and reborn. Amen.
