June 9, 2019 – Sunday
Gospel: John 14:15–16, 23b–26
 
“The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you.” – John 14:26
 
Today, as we celebrate the solemnity of Pentecost, Jesus assures us in our faith by giving us the Advocate who would be with us always – the Holy Spirit.
 
By being the Advocate, the Holy Spirit supports and accompanies us in our faithful endeavours as Christians giving us the knowledge and courage that we need in order for us to fulfil our mission.
 
Let us faithfully confide on the Holy Spirit as we do our mission in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
