​March 1, 2020 First Sunday of Cuaresma
Gospel: Matthew 4:1-11


 It is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.


This Sunday, it is good to be reminded that we, the people here on earth who are also children of God The Father were made to survive not only by physical food, but by spiritual food as well. 
 
May the Gospel today make us hungry not only for the food we take pictures of at family dinners and gatherings but more for the food only Our Creator’s Words can provide.
 

Lord Jesus, as we celebrate the First Sunday of Lent today, may You continue to grant us wisdom so that each time we feel hungry specially in this Lenten Season, we can turn to God for our daily spiritual food.
