Daily Guidelines: March 10, 2019

​March 10, 2019 - Sunday
Gospel: Luke 4:1-13

"Jesus was led by the Spirit for forty days in the wilderness."

We have all experienced the “wilderness”, those moments in our life where we search for hope and meaning.  Oftentimes these are the moments of suffering and it is normal to ask, “when will the wilderness end?” Today, Jesus enters His own wilderness with a different question, “who am i entering the wilderness with?” The Spirit was with Jesus in this experience of temptation and difficulty and helped Him stay true to His mission.  When all seems lost, it helps to remember that our Lord has “been there, done that” and that He leads us thru everything.  Lord, thank You that You guide us thru our wilderness experience.  Help us always trust in Your unfailing love.
