Daily Guidelines: March 21, 2019

​March 21, 2019 – Thursday
Gospel: Luke 16:19-31

"Let him warn them, so that they may not end up in this place of torment. " – Luke 16: 28

There are many modern day ‘Lazarus’ people that are being rejected and ignored until they die in misery. The gospel of today desires to break down the barrier that separates them in this life. The rich man was being condemned by ignoring Lazarus. Let us ask ourselves how do we encounter Lazarus in our way?

Lazarus is our key to the kingdom of God. We are all rich in something. May God take away the things that hinder us from seeing and helping our brothers in need. May we be moved with compassion to help those modern day Lazarus at our doorsteps. Amen.
