Gospel: John 14:6-14

"He who believes in me will also do the works that I do."

Have you experienced how it is to just do something without believing in what you were doing? This is “going thru the motions” and often the work is done half-heartedly and in poor quality.  Jesus stresses the same importance of belief.  You must first believe in Him and His message before you do works for Him.  Otherwise our service to the Lord will not be our very best.  Lord, thank you for reminding us to believe in You as we serve You.
