Gospel: John 6:35-40

 "I will not reject anyone who comes to me.” - cf Jn 6:37

The gospel today somewhat reminds us of the Repentant Thief, who even on his last day on earth, was showered by Christ’s mercy. How beautiful it is to see Jesus always spreading His arms wide to embrace us- despite all our shortcomings, no matter how far we’ve drifted apart from Him. Such is Jesus’ promise, that whoever comes to Him will never hunger or thirst. Is it even possible to imagine a world without hunger? Jesus invites us to help alleviate hunger simply by bringing others closer to Him. Can you do your share today?
