Gospel: Luke 14: 12-14

"You will be blessed because they cannot repay you" Luke 14: 14

In today's Gospel, Jesus asks us to help and invite people who do not have any means to repay our good deeds or kindness especially the poor and the unknown.

This invitation for us is something that is hard to do because it is a normal custom for us, the feeling of wanting others to repay us for what we have done for them, We long for the same treatment.

Jesus invites us today to give without counting the cost, to do something for others without asking anything in return and to seek not for any material and wordly rewards but for eternal reward.
