​October 12, 2019 – Saturday

Gospel: Luke 11:27-28

“Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and observe it.”

Many of us are hardheaded and resist following what God wills in our lives. We refuse to live it out since it’s difficult, feeling like we’re in a straight jacket all the time, we do not see the “freedom” He promised.

But as soon as we learn and get to know Him more, we see His wisdom. He didn’t say that there will be no more suffering, but we accept whatever challenges we face. This is the freedom He speaks to us about.

Let us learn to abandon to Him completely our past, present and future. May your will be done, Lord, whatever it may please you.
