Daily Guidelines: October 18, 2018

October 18, 2018 – Thursday
Gospel: Luke 10:1-9

“Go on your way… Carry no money bag, no sack, no sandals.” (cf Lk 10:4-5)

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Luke, one of the four evangelists who generously shared with us the Gospel of the Lord. As Christians, we are entrusted with the same great mission to proclaim the Kingdom of God.

In doing so, Jesus invites us to completely trust in His providence and rely on His grace – bringing nothing but our faith, vision, and conviction - as He, who calls us, is faithful and will give us everything that we need when we learn to detach ourselves from things that may hinder us from fulfilling our mission.
