October 26, 2018 – Friday
Gospel: Luke 12:54-59

“Why do you not know how to interpret the present time?”

Jesus says that we seem to know how to forecast the weather, yet we can’t seem to recognize Him in our daily lives. Everyday, He is in our failures, waiting for us to run to Him for comfort and solace. He is in our winning moments, waiting for us to celebrate with Him.. Why do we not see Him?

We may become too preoccupied with our daily lives that we neglect these little moments. We sometimes lose our trust in Him since we are overwhelmed with worries and anxiety.

Let us ask for the grace of humility, that we may see with His eyes, that He may open our minds and hearts, to see Him in all moments, in everyone and in everything we encounter.
