Gospel: Luke 9:7–9
 
"Who is this about whom I hear such things?" (cf. Luke 9:9)
 
In today's Gospel, Herod wanted to know more about Jesus. Despite the fact that Jesus didn't do his miracles to impress people, the miracles were impressive. They were so impressive that Herod learned about them. He was curious. At times, we also have questions about Jesus.
 
Today let us ask ourselves: who do we think Jesus is? Like Herod, are we trying to learn more about Jesus?
 
Let us ask Mother Mary to help us know more of Jesus deeply and intimately. Amen.
