September 25, 2019 Wednesday
Gospel: Luke 9:1–6
 
"And he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal." (cf. Luke 9:2)
 
As we journey in our Christian life, it is inevitable for us to look at the people we encounter and recognize the needs in their life – be it healing or words to live by. And when mercy eventually moves us, then comes the compassion to act and help.
 
In today’s Gospel, Jesus is sending us as well-equipped missionaries ready to partake in His ministry for the people.
 
May we have the courage to take the step into mission, ready to help the people in need.
